About Me

After growing up in Snoqualmie, Washington, I decided to go to the University of Oregon and major in a Journalism and Communications.

With an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Business, these subjects have fueled my constant curiosity and drive to be creative.

At the UO, I am the Executive Producer of Public Relations for Duck TV, a student-run television network. I manage a PR team of 45 students on social media, media, and external relations teams. Alongside three other Executive Producers, I help operate the organization and produce news, sports, and creative shows that air weekly to the UO’s 24,000 students. I also took on the role of Account Executive at Allen Hall Public Relations, a student-run Public Relations firm at the UO. I work with 5 other team members to create and promote content for a startup company, Camellia Grove Kombucha.

In the summer of 2018, I got the opportunity to studying abroad in London where I took social media and international news for journalists. These courses taught me how to effectively translate my storytelling skills onto various social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat. Writing about a the timeline of Justin and Hailey Bieber’s relationship through the use of social media reminded me of my passion for the entertainment industry.

I will graduate in June 2020 and hope to turn my passions into a career. I plan on moving to Southern California in hopes of pursuing a career in Entertainment PR.

When I am not studying you can find me digging for the latest Hollywood gossip, listening to Justin Bieber classics, watching movie marathons and play with my dachshunds.
