On April 2, Sister Kourtney announced her new lifestyle brand POOSH!
The Kardashians have done it again. Arguably the most famous family in Hollywood is finding new ways every day to make us obsess over their lives. They continuously have us streaming their show every Sunday night and refreshing their Instagram every hour.
If you have been following Kourtney you might know that she has always had a passion for health and wellness, beauty and home improvement. Well, there is no need to be jealous anymore because she is finally sharing her A-List secrets with us.
For a week, Kourtney teased fans on Instagram with a series of ambiguous photos with the caption “coming soon @poosh.” Leaving just the Instagram handle of her new brand is an incentive for fans to instantly follow the account. I have to admit this strategy got me right away.
This left followers on the edge of their seats, waiting for the announcement.
The launch campaign of her brand solely took place on Instagram. Which comes to no surprise since we learned that Kourtney can make up to $250,000 from a sponsored post. In our day and age, if the Kardashians like it . . . we gotta have it. Kourtney has a whopping 77.4 million followers, while Poosh already has 2.8 million followers on Instagram.
Partnerships (The Secret Money Maker)!
Now, Poosh is more than just a blog about Kourtney’s tips and tricks to life. Kourtney’s strategy is to partner with her favorite brands, after she raves about them in a blog post she links their products on her ‘shop‘ tab.
The Poosh store launched on May 1 with a collaboration with Vital Proteins, who is famously known for their collagen boosting powder. Kourtney has sworn by this powder for years, so naturally, her first collaboration was two limited edition flavors of the powder that are only available to purchase on Poosh.
You Know You’re Famous When . . .
In promotion for her brand, Kourtney went on The Ellen Show earlier this week. Ellen Degeneres is no stranger to the Kardashians, having hosted each of them on the show multiple times. She even created a sixth Kardashian sister named Karla.
This past week Karla coincidentally launched her own personal brand as well, and here is her promotional video for it.
For over a decade Kourtney Kardashian, along with her sisters, has managed to stay relevant in our fast-paced society. She has dominated reality television for nearly 12 years and is always setting this seasons trends, to say the least.
